Handprint Ornaments

Wholesome Womanhood explains how to use Crayola Model Magic to make these handprint ornaments. One of the comments suggests adding a photo of the child on the reverse side. Brilliant! I'll have to try this with Audrey and the new baby this winter. :)

Tiered Cupcake Holder

I love these cupcake stands! I think I am going to have to attempt to make one (or more) before the next tea party. So pretty!!

Check out the Giver's Log for details on how to make this project.

Ceramic Angel

For Christmas 2004, I painted a ceramic angel for my husband's aunt. I had a lot of help and guidance from a coworker, Jeanne, who has been painting ceramics for years. This project was a lot of fun, and I hope I get a chance to paint ceramics again!

My hand-painted Christmas Angel.

I love the technique used to paint the wings!
The gold paint applied after firing was another nice touch.
